Cookie Policy

Last updated: 6 February 2026

This cookie policy explains how Maestro Partners Ventures ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on maestro-partners.com (the "Website"). This policy has been prepared in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the Danish Data Protection Act, and the Danish Executive Order on Information and Consent Required in Case of Storing or Accessing Information in End-User Terminal Equipment.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are used to remember your preferences, analyse traffic, and improve user experience. Cookies can be "first-party cookies" (set by our website) or "third-party cookies" (set by external services).

2. How we use cookies

We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to manage all our tracking tags. GTM is a tag management system that does not collect personal data itself, but loads other services (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) based on your consent.

Cookies are divided into three categories. Statistics and marketing cookies are only activated when you give your explicit consent via our cookie banner.

3. Necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to function correctly. They enable basic functions such as page navigation, access to secure areas, and storage of your cookie preferences. Necessary cookies do not require consent, as the website cannot function without them. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).

  • maestro_cookie_consent - Stores your cookie preferences. First-party cookie. Does not expire (localStorage). Set by: Maestro Partners.
  • Google Tag Manager (GTM) - Tag management system that loads and manages all third-party scripts based on your consent. Does not set its own cookies. Set by: Google.

4. Statistics cookies

Statistics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the website by collecting anonymised information. These cookies are only set with your consent. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

  • _ga - Distinguishes unique users by assigning a randomly generated number. Third-party cookie. Duration: 2 years. Set by: Google Analytics.
  • _ga_[ID] - Used to persist session state. Third-party cookie. Duration: 2 years. Set by: Google Analytics.
  • _gid - Distinguishes users. Third-party cookie. Duration: 24 hours. Set by: Google Analytics.
  • _gat - Used to throttle request rate. Third-party cookie. Duration: 1 minute. Set by: Google Analytics.
  • Contentsquare/Hotjar cookies - Used to analyse user behaviour (scrolling, clicks, mouse movements) and optimise the user experience. Third-party cookies. Duration: Up to 1 year. Set by: Contentsquare.

5. Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies are used to track visitors across websites to display relevant advertisements and measure campaign effectiveness. These cookies are only set with your consent. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

  • Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc) - Used to measure the effectiveness of ads on Facebook and Instagram and build audiences for remarketing. Third-party cookie. Duration: Up to 90 days. Set by: Meta Platforms, Inc.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag (li_sugr, bcookie, lidc, UserMatchHistory) - Used to measure the effectiveness of LinkedIn ads and analyse visitor professional demographics. Third-party cookie. Duration: Up to 2 years. Set by: LinkedIn Corporation.

6. Google Consent Mode v2

We use Google Consent Mode v2, which ensures that Google Analytics respects your cookie preferences. When you have not consented to statistics cookies, Google Analytics does not send any identifying data. Google may instead use modelling to estimate aggregated trends, but this does not involve the processing of your personal data.

7. Managing your cookie preferences

You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the website (in the footer) or via the cookie banner when it appears.

You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Please note that blocking necessary cookies may affect the website's functionality.

Browser settings

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You will typically find these under "Privacy" or "Security" in your browser. For specific instructions, please refer to your browser's help pages.

8. Third parties and data transfers

Some of the third-party services we use (e.g. Google Analytics) may transfer data to servers outside the EU/EEA. We ensure that such transfers comply with the GDPR, including through the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. For further details, please refer to our privacy policy.

9. Changes to this policy

We update this cookie policy if we change our use of cookies or if legislation changes. In the event of material changes, you will be asked to renew your consent.
